Richard Kuhn
Head of Product and Managing Director
Richard Kuhn is head of product for Thornburg Investment Management, joining the firm in 2024. He is responsible for ensuring the competitiveness of the firm’s product lineup, from ideation of new concepts to enhancements of existing products. Prior to his current role, Richard held positions of increasing responsibility over 20 years at Invesco, most recently serving as head of U.S. product strategy and development.
Throughout his career, Richard has had a focus on innovation, which is core to the product function. His experience across asset classes, investment styles, and vehicles allows Thornburg to address commercial opportunities with a client-focused view in an ever-evolving industry. Richard received a BA from Baylor University.
